VEGA says this is precisely what VEGA has been pressing for but in vain. Why not let consumers have their say and not leave subjects like food and farming to the authorities? There is plenty of room for discussion and debate and argument if necessary, but consumers want action now and have been asking for it for a long time. So why not let the flood in immediately and see some action taken to relive the monotony of factory farming, intensive systems of production and many agricultural factors that are seen as ‘production diseases’?
