Kerrs Bakery recalls a batch of Crispie Cakes due to possible metal contamination, Scotland only.

Kerrs Bakery in North Lanarkshire has recalled a batch of Kerrs Bakery Crispie Cakes (packs of 3) due to possible contamination with metal fragments. The contamination occurred after an isolated mechanical failure at their plant.

The affected products were available at retail outlets from 18 May 2006 and have been distributed only in the central and western areas of Scotland.

The recalled product is:
Kerrs Bakery Crispie Cakes

The recalled batch code is:
Best before 24 August 2006: (appears as 240806 on label)

No other batch codes are known to be affected.
